Hellmail 2009 Appeal >> Battlefield Railway
How You Can Help
Hellmail is running an appeal for 2009 for donations to help restore a railway station almost completely destroyed by vandals in March 2008 (see clip above). Its the little Market Bosworth station on the Battlefield Steam Railway midway between Ashby-de-la-Zouch and Hinckley in Leicestershire . We're appealing for donations to help members of the Battlefield Line restore the buildings for future generations which they cannot do without donations and volunteers. Please help .

You can help the Battlefield Steam Railway in so many ways by visiting, or volunteering to restore and maintain the railway which is enjoyed by so many children. Hellmail strongly supports the work of all those involved with the railway and asks anyone who feels they can help in any way, to please get in touch with them.
How Hellmail Can Help You in return:
You may just wish to send a donation anyway, but Hellmail would be delighted to feature any companies involved in the postal industry that would be willing to support or even provide a one-off contribution (however small) to the line which continues to thrill adults and children alike and is we feel, an important part of our heritage. Your article will appear in 'Google News' as well as 'News Now' and be accessible to many aggregated news sources. Virtually everyone involved in the postal industry reads Hellmail so its a great way to get exposure.
If you would like us to run a dedicated feature about your business or service - please make a cheque payable to 'Shackerstone Railway Society Limited' (please give generously) and send direct to:
Hellmail.co.uk Battlefield Appeal 2009, Shackerstone Station, Shackerstone, Leicestershire. CV13 6NW. United Kingdom
or Telephone the Battelfield line for general enquiries on 01827 880754
Every donation, no matter how small, really counts. They have so much they would like to do but need funds to realise this. Please tell them where you heard about the appeal - thanks
