Add Hellmail Headlines To YOUR Site - FREE
We have provided this page for site owners and web developers who wish to incorporate selective news feeds into their pages. We will be adding more categories in April. News is displayed with the latest items first but many parameters can be changed (see Tips).
Selective Headlines (javascript call):
This is by far the easiest and the one which we recommend. Simply paste the relevant code below into the area of your site that you would like the headlines to appear. These code snippets allow you more control over content.
Main Headlines (mostly UK)
For the top ten main headlines (headline only) use:
<script language="JavaScript" src="http://www.hellmail.co.uk/postalnews/xlaabsolutenm.asp?z=3&h=10&sc=n&ss=n&rmore=+&size=1&st=n&sd=n&d=v&ord=desc&color=660000"></script>
For the top five main headlines (headline only) use:
<script language="JavaScript" src="http://www.hellmail.co.uk/postalnews/xlaabsolutenm.asp?z=3&h=5&sc=n&ss=n&rmore=+&size=1&st=n&sd=n&d=v&ord=desc&color=660000"></script>
For the top five main headlines (with brief description) use:
<script language="JavaScript" src="http://www.hellmail.co.uk/postalnews/xlaabsolutenm.asp?z=3&h=5&ord=desc&d=v&st=n"></script>
Tips: Please note that h=5 or h=10 denotes the number of headline stories. The order of news stories is set as most recent first, ie ord=desc - you can change this to ord=asc if you prefer them in reverse order. Font size is set by size=1 or size=2 etc. You can amend this to suit your site.
Global Postal News (generally Europe and beyond)
For the top ten global postal news stories (headline only) use:
<script language="JavaScript" src="http://www.hellmail.co.uk/postalnews/xlaabsolutenm.asp?z=11&h=10&sc=n&ss=n&rmore=+&size=1&st=n&sd=n&d=v&ord=desc&color=660000"></script>
For the top five global postal news stories (headline only) use:
<script language="JavaScript" src="http://www.hellmail.co.uk/postalnews/xlaabsolutenm.asp?z=11&h=5&sc=n&ss=n&rmore=+&size=1&st=n&sd=n&d=v&ord=desc&color=660000"></script>
For the top five global news stories (with brief description) use:
<script language="JavaScript" src="http://www.hellmail.co.uk/postalnews/xlaabsolutenm.asp?z=11&h=5&ord=desc&d=v&st=n"></script>

All Stories (RSS Feed):
You can draw on our combined news feed which displays all stories from Hellmail (regardless of type) using code that can display RSS feeds. The url is:
http://feeds.feedburner.com/Hellmail-PostalIndustryNews?format=xml
There are many third-party rss readers or you can talk to your developer on how best to incorporate an RSS feed. There are also code snippets available on the net that would suit your server configuration. Please bear in mind that our RSS feed will include 'Talkback' items which may not suit the context of your site. This is why we recommend you use the javascript code to get targetted news.
