The Ukrainian government has thanked the Ukraine postal service (Ukrpochty) for its proactive approach to ensuring the delivery of medicines intended for the treatment of influenza.
The minister said that Ukrpochty had met all the requirements of central government, consistently and expeditiously delivering vital medicines on time to 25 regional administrations for distribution among hospitals in the Ukraine, helping prevent the spread of viral-respiratory diseases in the country.
Ukrainian authorities have closed schools and placed strict limitations on travel as the country tries to deal with the spread of swine flu.
